Parking at the port can be a pretty hefty price on top of your cruise fare. Fares run $20 a day at the Port of Los Angeles and $23 at the Port of Long Beach. That means for a week of parking, you can expect to pay at least $140. Los Angeles is a large city and not designed for walking around. GETTING AROUND LOS ANGELES

If you need to park longer than a week, it’s just $10 per day. There is no shuttle offered, but an Uber or Lyft would be cheap and easy given the short distance. The Mobile, Alabama cruise terminal offers state-of-the-art security in a large facility that accommodates most vehicles for those cruising out of the Mobile port. The parking terminal is located in downtown Mobile near hotels, restaurants and other amenities. Oversize vehicles require an additional fee at the Alabama cruise port.

I generally would not book flights through the cruise line because we like to book online ourselves. However, you decide whatever works best for you and gives you peace of mind. If there’s a major event happening in the area, there may be a $5 fee forthat day, but you would only be charged if you enter the lot on that day.
